A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Audition [Paid Content]
It’s a chaotic, glorious, musical mess of a journey with a ton of sarcasm. I’m so glad you’re joining me!
About
Dramatic coloratura soprano, Kerri Lynn Slominski, is a dynamic singing actress who dominates the stage with commanding force, delightful comedic timing and provides memorable performances to all. Performing all over the country and overseas, she is constantly being praised for having a powerful, expressive warm voice and outstanding presentation.
For over twenty years, Slominski has been involved in Outreach performance and has performed in homeless shelters, retirement homes and elementary schools. She has taught students with neurodivergent disabilities as well as English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) students. She has two self produced outreach performances which help teach opera in an alternative way: The 18 and over operatic cabaret entitled: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Audition and a K-5 interactive assembly called: What Is It Like Being An Opera Singer.
Slominski holds a Professional Studies Certificate and a Master’s in Music in Opera/Vocal Performance from the Boyer College of Music at Temple University and a Bachelor’s in Music in Vocal Performance from the Peabody Conservatory of Music.
