Hi my name is KL and I love talking all things music.
So here we go! Let’s talk music!
I’m excited to start a new journey here.
A little bit about me:
I’m a singing actor who is dedicating my life to screaming the glorious music of dead composers primarily from the 18th-20th century on stage and beyond. My voice is loud and high.
I absolutely love opera and I’m married to the glorious art form. I have multiple music degrees in Vocal and Opera Performance and Literature, but none of that shit matters here.
You’d assume I’d be one of those “mega classical music snobs,” but I absolutely hate those people. There’s no reason to think you’re better than others because you listen and or perform classical music. You can’t be an asshole if you want to keep audiences engaged while attracting new listeners.
I know - you’re going to want to try to argue with me about what I write. I’m not here for that headache. I just know my taste in music is literally all over the place and I geek out when someone wants to talk music so why not write about music here.
That’s pretty much the reason I wanted to start this page.
So, here’s a quick rundown of what you’ll get from me here. I want to talk about:
All genres of music
I want to give you my honest reviews about new albums that are out there
I’ll post stories about my performances
Attempt to cover the latest gossip that’s out there in music
Review live/televised performances
I’m probably forgetting a whole bunch, but it’s a little bit of everything and I can assume you - I’m talking music.
It’s going to be a chaotic, glorious, mess of a journey. But being an extreme creative, that’s 100000% normal for me.
